Fall Sports Season
Congratulations to our Varsity Volleyball Team! They are the 2011 WIAA 3A Academic Champions for the State with a 3.89 GPA!!!!!!
Girls Volleyball and Girls Soccer reached the Playoffs!
Fall WIAA Athletes of the Week:
Eugene Holley 3A Football. Eugene Holley rushed for over 1000 yards during the 2011 season.
Molly Whipple and Monica Postor 3A Volleyball
The Shorewood T-Bird boys tennis team won the District 1 team championship to add to their undefeated season and conference championship. Miles Jamieson and Hunter Nelson won the doubles championship to qualify for the WIAA State Tennis Tournament in May. Justin Oh placed 4th in singles, Trevor Cronin and Isaac Brengelmann placed 4th in doubles to add more team points and clinch the team victory.
Girls Swim/Dive keep their winning streak alive, winning the WESCO SOUTH Swim/Dive Championship!!
Placing 6th as a Team at State: Individual swimmers at State Christina Garrison 100 breaststroke, Anni Hecker 50 and 100 free, Annika Stenfjord 100 and 200 free.
The ladies were also NW District 1 Champion.
Keenan Stephens, Boys Cross Country runner represented Shorewood at the STATE Championships in Pasco on November 4th placing in the top half of the field.
Great job to all Shorewood athletes on your season. Go T-Birds!!!
